A) FEEDBACK
Throughout the process of creating my animation, I would ask my classmate beside me to give me suggestions on how to make my animation look better and whether he likes the look of it.
Overall, the feedback which was given wasn't anything too major but instead small adjustments which would make the animation look more realistic (e.g. when the character is walking along the street, have the clouds and street move the opposite direction instead of in the same direction).
The feedback given overall made my animation look more realistic in my opinion and I am happy that I took this feedback on board and used it in a positive way.
B) POST-PRODUCTION
Adobe Photoshop was the software which I used to create my animation and I feel as though this worked well. However, there were certain things which I could not achieve on Photoshop and so, I had to import my animation into Adobe Premiere Pro and adjust my animation slightly to get it to look the way I wanted it to.
Adjustments include:
- Change the speeds of certain moments in the animation to increase tension (I used the speed/duration tool to do this)
- Have first shot fade into the production then have the last shot fade out (I used the opacity feature and the key frames with it to achieve this)
C) AUDIO
Due to Photoshop not having the option to add in audio to animation, I had to add any relevant audio into the production once the animation was exported and in Premiere Pro.
Audio used include:
- Audio recorded of owner speaking
- Sound effects
- Music to fit the purpose
